UPON DELIVERY
Company receiver:
Upon delivery, North Cabinetry does require a company receiver, salesperson, or a
company representative to assist the North Cabinetry driver to valid, crosscheck and sign
all documents.
Driver assistance:
The North Cabinetry shipments are tailgate deliveries only. Our driver will assist in any
reasonable way to help complete the delivery.
Delivery schedule:
North Cabinetry does allow a reasonable time for delivery and we ask that the dealer assist
North Cabinetry in maintaining the delivery schedule.
Suitable access:
The dealer must supply a suitable access to the delivery dock. If the driver finds that he
cannot reach the dock due to unsuitable access, the dealer is responsible for locating an
alternative site for delivery. An upcharge will apply.
Checking items:
The carrier is responsible for checking off all items and making a package count as the
unloading is proceeding.
Missing items:
If any items are missing other than being Back Ordered, it must be noted on both the
dealer's and driver's copy of the Bill of Lading. The driver will then contact North Cabinetry
to explain the problem to the North Cabinetry Export Manager for quick research and/or
to produce the missing parts as soon as possible.
Visible damage:
If visible damage is found, it must be noted on both the dealer's and driver's copy of the
Bill of Lading. The driver will then contact North Cabinetry to explain the problem to the
North Cabinetry Export Manager. All discrepancies must be noted.
Signed packing list:
A signed and completed Bill of Lading indicates that the order is complete and free from
any damage or shortage (unless noted otherwise) and that the dealer waives the right to
make shipping damage and/or shortage claims on that order later. North Cabinetry
considers the delivery to be complete once the product has been signed for and the
payment is due under the agreed upon terms.
